About Us

The TC Walchwil is a community of sports enthusiastic people. Above all we play tennis to have fun with each other. For a couple of years we also have an ambitious women’s Interclub team which loves to measure itself and compete against teams from other clubs.

“Have fun and provide our members with a pleasant tennis experience.”

Important messages are distributed via e-mail, and posted on our Internet- and Facebook pages, and on the bulletin board in the clubhouse

Each member family receives its own key which allows access to the courts and the clubhouse after appropriate reservation. Parents are responsible for their children and ensure that the rules of our club are followed appropriately, and that games are carried out based on mutual respect and fair sportsmanship.

Clubhouse Rules

— Our clubhouse is self-serviced by our members. Drinks can be taken from the refrigerator. Used cutlery including ashtrays have to be cleaned by the user and stored in the appropriate racks (a matter of honor!!!). There is no price list for drinks, but the club asks for voluntary contributions.

— The lavatory and shower facilities are located outside of the club house on the ground floor of the apartment building “Dürreneberg 28” and can be used at no extra charge by all club members.

— The horizontal blinds of the pergola should be pulled back upon departure of the club facilities. Parents should ensure that children do not disrupt the playing. They are also responsible for their children when personally absent.

— It’s a matter of honor to leave the clubhouse and lavatory facilities in a condition as one would like to find them upon own arrival. In the spirit of good culture, every member can remind others when the agreed rules of self-service are not followed accordingly.
